What if I end things Now?

Years ago, as I lay on the hospital bed, tired and worn out, I thought of ending things. "Why suffer every day when I can just suffer once and put an end to it forever?"  Then I watched my mother sit beside me, silently praying while she think I'm sleeping. She checks my medications and stand long ques to buy me pills doctors prescribe.  And I'd think - "Maybe after she passes, I'll end it! She wouldn't bare losing me to my own mind!Not after she fought with me to survive the cancer". The cancer's long gone, and I sit alone at night, unable to sleep. And I'd think, "I should just do it now". I'd think "maybe after I travel the world" If my life was a movie, I'd walk out after the first 30 minutes. But the movie lasts a whole 2 hours. So what if the first 30 minutes were boring, depressing? You have the rest of your movie! If the protagonist kills herself, that would be a terrible ending. So the protagonist waits, b...

When an Athiest met God

An athiest walkes into a bar.
Sitting two seats across, she meets God.
"Peculiar to see you in here"- she smiled.
"I never see you at the church, or the temple.So I decided to meet you at your holy place" - said God
"You looking for someone to have a deep conversation with?" 
"Yes. I'm tired of listening to the prayers." - God said,looking down.

"You can't help people,can you?"- the atheist asked 
"What do you want me to tell you,child?"
"What are you up there for?"- the atheist ordered two drinks - "I've prayed to you too,once. Didn't make a difference"
"I don't get to make a difference"- said God - " I am your creator! I made you and the only thing I can do is sit back and watch, hoping you'd find the things that makes you happy."
"Like my parents" -she smiled
"One way or another " - said God - "why don't you believe in me?"
"I do! I don't think I am scared of you. I don't think God watches over me, waiting for me to sin; just to banish me into eternal hell" 
" I don't " 
"Tired of people thinking of you as an excuse? An excuse for the bad things that happens around them? An excuse to sin because apparently, they think you said so" 
" Well they also credit me with their good days and luck. It's all 'God helped me recover the dark times, or God helped me win the lottery' too" - God laughed.

"There's two whiskey, for the god and the athiest." -said the bartender.
"Can you turn that into wine too or is it a Jesus-thing?" 
"I can, but tonight, whiskey sounds fine"
