Two cups of Chai

I kept the chai glasses together, before he walked in. I looked at them staying side by side,  Touching ever-so-lightly. I took a sip from both the cups, before he walked in. They tasted alike. Much like you and me. But then you walked in. I gave away a cup of chai to you. You sipped the tea I stole a bit. I smiled. We drank our teas- Yours in you, and mine in me. Much like our ways. But I took a sip before you walked in, and i touched the glasses together, and looked at it like a dream i often see. You and i smiled, and went our way. But I left a little bit of me in you!

Ways to avoid the Grief Forest

How do you avoid the grief forest?
The dark, pine filled, thorny bushed, vile paths.
How do you walk in without getting your skin bruised, toe-stubbed, sometimes a tooth knocked out by the mysterious grief monsters?
Maybe don't take the path at all. Go around it, its a longer route, but you'll avoid the wretched grief forest.
Or like many, get through the good alternative - the valley of substance.
You can sleep your way to the other side.
You poke your head into the valley of substance and your mind goes to sleep.
Sure, it ruins your body. But its the only way to avoid the darker alleys of the grief forest.
Or find a way to fly over or dig under, to the other side.
But beware, the wanderers who avoids the grief forest! It follows you - like a walking, breathing monster.
When you least expect it, it engulfs you.
"Feel me" - it yells into your ears.

Sometimes, when you look back, it no longer follows. It would look like it backed away from you.
You'd sigh of relief.
When you least expect it, you'll find yourself inside the horrors.
Suddenly you are tied up to the grief tree with shackles until you can no longer move.
You'll roll on the grief soil, find yourself drowning in the grief sea.
No matter the route, it finds you.
But if you go through the forest of grief, let yourself be tied up to the thorny grief trees,
Feel the soil of grief rubbing against your skin, and jump into the cold deep waters of griefsea, you wake up one random day with a weight lifted off your chest.
You feel lighter.
Sure you suffered, but you'll see the end of grief road somewhere ahead of you.
Said the phinex - " But listen well! The grief forest is different for different people. Your road is yours. But feel it you must, for it to leave you alone".
Into the grief forest, i must go.
